WHY

Why we built it.

Two clients in a row asked us: "Is Copilot actually paying for itself?" The answer is in the GitHub admin export, but it's not pretty. Then GitHub announced usage-based billing, and the question got sharper: what is this going to cost us next quarter?

So we built a clean reporting layer for it — and deliberately built it with no backend at all. The extension runs inside your Azure DevOps organization and talks to GitHub from your browser, so your usage data never passes through a Baytek server. That was the only architecture our own security reviewers would sign off on, and we assumed yours would feel the same.
